Old Home Days Event
Hello Friends,
With the success of the Bicentennial Celebration last year, we have decided to make this an annual event, which will be held on the first Saturday in June.
We will kick it off with a parade starting at 12:00, noon. Participants will line up on Park Ave at 11:30am and the parade will proceed down 98 to the town park. so get out your classic vehicles, tractors, boats, or even walk your dog and join us.
There will be fun activities starting from noon until 4:00pm for kids at the park, including bounce houses, a saw dust pile, horse drawn rides, the smoke detector trailer provided by emergency management, firetrucks, and the police department have activities planned. There will be two bands playing live music from 1:00pm until 7:00 pm behind the Carlton Fire Company Rec Hall, where a beer tent will be located. The first band playing will be Coupe De Ville’s and finishing out the day will be Stoney Creek band getting back together again.
We are looking for food trucks available to set up at the park and cover the food needs for the day. If you are interested please contact the Carlton Town Clerk, Debbie Yockel, at 585-682-4358 to get involved.
We are asking for donations to help cover the costs the costs of the bands and the tent. We will be doing a sponsor board to be on display for the day with Gold Sponsors of $250.00, Silver Sponsors of $100.00, Bronze Sponsors of $50.00, and the option to sponsor any other amount.
